Marriage - An Acquired Taste?

Take one firm, articulate, handsome man and a prime, sultry, intelligent, fertile woman. Add a kilo of communication, 2 parts mutual respect, 6 tablespoons of chemistry, 4 tablespoons of desire and equal measures of attraction. Fold in three ounces of intimacy, one of understanding, a pound of hot lovemaking and a teaspoon of machismo before allowing the ingredients to settle for a short while. Douse liberally with a dedication of vows, add 2 free range eggs and whip ingredients into a firm, stable, enviable mixture before pouring evenly into a semi-detached tin and bake in a moderate heat for a few years.

Once cooled, place on a rack of boredom, and create the ultimate topping; mix 1 kilo of complacency, half a pound of unrealistic expectations, a small bag of whinging, 2.4 screaming children, six hefty bills and a splash of interfering Mother-In-Law. Place over a high heat and bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Blend in two tablespoons of selfishness, one part non-intimate, monotonous s8x, three quarters of miscommunication and half a teaspoon of nonchalance.

Spread topping generously before sprinkling with 100’s and 1000’s of disdain, creating the ultimate Crème de la Façade.
